Layering Colors & Light – Illustration Process

Sharing another full illustration process — from concept to final touches — created using MediBang Paint and SAI 2. This piece was an exploration of light, shadow, and the power of layered color.

🖊 Sketch & Composition: I began with a loose sketch in MediBang, defining the pose and overall flow of the composition. I focused on creating a sense of movement and narrative within the scene.

🎨 Color & Layer Play: Color was built gradually using multiple layers, allowing for subtle transitions and effects. I used blending modes to create atmosphere and to unify the color palette.

💡 Lighting & Shadows: In SAI 2, I refined the lighting and deepened the shadows. Playing with contrast helped shape the form and added dramatic tension to the piece.
