Mailen, the Dismembered – Character Concept Sheet

This piece explores the design of Mailen, a high-ranking demon whose visual language blends elegance, corruption, and restraint.
Her form is defined by a contrast between angelic symmetry and demonic fragmentation — wings once majestic, now symbolically replaced by scars and sealing marks.

From a design perspective, the goal was to convey mutilation without loss of dignity. The armor’s geometry and her posture suggest both power and burden, while her lavender palette softens the brutality of her backstory.

Concept Breakdown:

Race: Greater Demon

Role: Forbidden Seal Guardian / Hexcaster

Height: 1.82 m

Core Idea: A fallen entity who defied divine law and paid the price through dismemberment, her immortality bound by sigils carved into her flesh.

Signature Quote: “They took my wings, not my will to fly with bones.”

Mailen’s character design emphasizes narrative-driven anatomy and symbolic material rendering, combining organic flow with hard-edged armor to evoke both tragedy and endurance.

I’m currently open for art commissions — including original characters, concept sheets, and fantasy/mecha designs.
